Getting There
Dress Code

For the gents

No need for formalwear - ties are out, and shorts are in!  Think relaxed, summery, and casual. Hawaiian shirts are encouraged.

For serving members & veterans

Veterans are officially encouraged to wear chinos with a blazer or sports jacket, plus medals and your corps, unit or regimental tie. Serving members to wear uniform.

Please bring berets for some photos.

Feel free to change into more casual attire after the ceremony.

For the ladies

Due to the soft forest ground, please skip the stilettos - nobody wants to be caught on camera sinking into the ground or hitting the deck! Wedges, flats, or block heels are perfect.

Think summer BBQ vibes meets evening garden party - we want you comfy, confident, and with zero limitations on your dance moves.

No hats needed  - nobody looks good with hat hair for the evening do! Dress to enjoy the sunshine (we hope), the trees, and the dance floor!

Useful information
Parking:
There is free on-site parking for everyone.
Cars can be left over night and collected from 9am the following day.
Accomodation:
Evenley has a small number of AirBnB's available, plus Brackley and Mixbury all within a short taxi ride to the venue. Here are a few suggestions to look at:
Kids:
Give your babysitter a heads-up—our wedding will be a kid-free zone! (Accept our own, we had no choice!)
The after the party, party:

If you don’t want the day to end and fancy a cozy chill-out by the campfire with music and marshmallows, join us in Little Woods (right next to the wedding area). The vibe will be more relaxed, but the fun, laughter, and love will definitely continue!

No need to RSVP - just see how you’re feeling at the end of the evening and wander on over if the mood strikes.

Camping

Camping isn’t for everyone (we get it!), but if you fancy keeping the outdoor vibe going, there’s a campsite within the woods where you’re welcome to pitch a tent for the night of the wedding. The Bridal Party will be camping!

Camping Need-to-Knows:

Tents & camper vans welcome!

Pitch your tent between 10am-12noon on the morning of the wedding in the Orchard. Ask at main entrance for directions.

Take-down: All tents must be packed away by 4pm the following day.

Facilities: There are 5 toilets and 1 shower on site available to the campers. Personal BBQ equipment is welcome.

Breakfast in the Woods:

The next morning, join us for a relaxed breakfast in Little Woods at 9am. Please let us know if you’ll be joining so we can make sure there are plenty of sarnies for everyone!

No Toasters, Please!

We’re lucky to already have everything we need, especially your love and support.

Gifts are absolutely not expected, but if you’d like to give something, we’d love for it to go to a charity and make a difference beyond our big day.
